Work Session of the Commission of the CIS Member States on the Peaceful Use of Atomic Energy Takes Place in Minsk
The twentieth anniversary meeting of the Commission of the CIS member states on the peaceful use of atomic energy took place in Minsk.
International public forum-dialogue and exhibition "ATOMECO 2019" took place on November 6-9 in Hungary, Pecs.
Representatives of FSUE RosRAO (a ROSATOM’s enterprise) presented front-line anthropomorphic technologies for radioactive waste (RAW) management at the 3rd International Forum on the Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, which was held in Iwaki (Fukushima Prefecture, Japan) on August 5-6.
RosRAO confirms the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015
RosRAO has successfully passed a recertification audit of the quality management system (QMS) within the period from 21.05.2018 to 29.05.2018 and confirmed compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. The audit was conducted by experts of the management systems certification body DQS-Russia, which is part of the international audit and certification holding DQS (Germany).
RosRAO together with ROSATOM’s regional center for Central Asia, held talks with Kazakhstan oilfield operators and introduced the services for the processing of oilfield waste – metal pipes and oil sludge contaminated with natural radionuclides.
RosRAO in consortium with TENEX, Radium Institute named after V.G. Khlopin and RIAR won a tender for the development of technologies for analyzing changes in the properties of corium (a mixture of nuclear fuel and concrete resulting from the melting of the reactor core) in the process of aging.
The Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic issued a permit to open RosRAO’s subsidiary “Central Asia”.
The first batch of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) was shipped off from the storage facility in Andreeva Bay (Murmansk Region) for further reprocessing on June 27. The shipment was carried out by the lighter ship Rossita.
